Dear Readers,

Above is mail I just received from someone close who wanted to be gentle with his “correction”!  Thanks, a million.

I’m from one of those one-religion towns and even up till this day, there is no mosque in my town in Ondo State.  I know the celebration is Ileya in Yoruba and I also know “Greater Beiram”; Eid Il Fitri jist as I know Id Il Kabir!
In Nigeria – at least the Southwest – Ileya is the popular name of this celebration.  I plead ignorance which is supposedly no excuse in law but as this is no legal wahala, readers will understand.

Thanks.  Regards, TOLA.>
