5in5 with Attorney and Social Entrepreneur Folake Ayoola
by Afropolitan Experience
My conversation with Ms Ayoola was so good, we had to create a ‘part 2′ for you guys. I really wanted to get into her passion for fashion, but I figured I was pushing it with ‘part 2′. Alright, go watch and figure out what i’m talking about. Here is the convo:
Ms Ayoola is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law. She is a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and is a recipient of the Parker School Certificate of Achievement in International and Comparative Law award. She is a director and former president of the Nigerian Lawyer Association (USA) and currently serves as Attorney-Advisor in the Division of Corporate Finance at the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Added to Folake’s impressive scholarly and professional work is her passion for Africa and Afropolitans alike – which gave birth to the founding of ‘AfriPRO Houston’ and ‘AfriMETRO’. Both are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations with the mission of providing a platform for Afropolitan professionals and entrepreneurs to connect and build advantageous relationships, as we seek to serve the global community at-large.
