Congratulations on emotanafricana’s first anniversary!
People will follow a leader who inspires them. Looking at the ‘Views by Country’, one will appreciate the sphere of influence in such a short time. One year of Emotanafricana in my view, is an illustration of transformational leadership. The blogger is making waves by passionately actualizing her vision. However, she’s having so much fun doing her thing she’s hardly noticed how much enthusiasm and energy she’s injecting into the space!
Emotanafricana is not only informative but inspiring as well. When the idea was first mentioned, it seemed like a daunting task but seeing it live and growing has inspired me to work on some of my own ideas and dreams. Whenever I’m feeling exasperated about Nigeria and especially the level of systemic corruption and mismanagement of our resources and I’m thinking “We have to do something about this!”one of the first things I do is visit the website to check if there’s been a comment on the issue by Aunty Tola.
I also see this blog as a practical example in deploying appropriate technology for communication. This is a skill that any writer who intends to engage readers across generations will do well to master.
Kudos! More juice to your laptops, modems and iPad!
