The statistics page has evolved quite some since I started this blog last March; could be that wordpress.com had everything all along but was merely responding to this blogs’ evolution!
‘Ng” and ‘uk’ were apparent and I knew the origin of ‘aol’, ‘comcast’, ‘sgbc’ as being American but when I first noticed ‘ie’ sometime in December, I called one of my kids who told me right away it’s ‘Ireland’ and told me where to get subsequent ones.
I’ve apparently not done a good work of it; some days I checked, others, I did not or COULD not because of slow web access links. On the whole, what I had been doing before the new graphic came some weeks ago that actually displayed a snazzy map daily was to enter the letters as they appeared daily and the countries AND, sometimes, the dates of emergence. The date, too, are not faithfully filled in. The urgency to get important done before the web sometimes parks up on me gets the blame. The appearance of real maps showing locations made me stop indicating the countries.
To supplement the 7-day graphics shown Monday, attached is the list of all countries from where readers have visited the blog. I say a big thank you to all the readers, and I cannot forget to thank the base of my support: the couple of hundreds whose mail boxes are clogged almost daily with links to my latest posts. With them, I know have a loyal base from which readers would never allow the blog to have zero visitors!
