Todd Akin is not an uncommon GOP, that group of Republicans who are quick to shout “family values”, “God and country” and other such sanctimonious preachings but have often been caught with their pants down where they shouldn’t, pardon me, including guys in a guys’ washroom some years ago.
Now, it’s Todd Akin – no, not Akin as in Nigeria’s Yoruba shortened name meaning a hero, a sort of real man, etcetera. This Akin – pronounced Ay-kin is, perhaps a man’s man but not one that men would want to acknowledge – if that makes any sense.
He’s hated by almost all – Democrats as well as his fellow Republicans alike not for what he has said as it tallies with what they believe and hold dear but the timing and saying it aloud! I’m not aware of the GOP’s platform this presidential election year when all hell seems to have been let loose but what he has said is right out of the party’s platform.
Here is the three-stanza reply in aa/bb to the bizzare out-of-this world dim-witted politician whose race for a Senate seat is over even though he’s told his fellow Republicans he’s not going to step down:
“Legitimate rape” is great birth control.
So says Todd Akin, and he oughta know.
If we are raped we can rest unafraid,
‘Cause we can’t get pregnant if forcibly laid.
Our female bodies are clever that way,
We only get pregnant when we say “okay.”
Doctors have told him, so it must be so,
The stork only comes if we don’t say “No!”
Rape won’t make babies and that is a fact;
There’s no global warming; the Earth’s really flat.
We heard it on FOX News so it must be true.
Well, Mr. Akin, we say “FUCK YOU!”
NOTE: Fox News is considered a reactionary tv station that has tv hosts like Rush Limbaugh who champion causes that are against minorities, women, etcetera. On the station, there have been cranks who have actually called for Obama’s assassination and there are always tv show hosts who excused such. TOLA.
