The 10 Most Livable Cities In Africa
By Julia Austin

Nigerian cities may “jump'” with those over-the-top expensive parties but they ain’t livable, a fact most Nigerians always knew but now that a research has brought into the open what we always know, what do we do now?  Is it the Boko Haram terrorism upsurge?  Or the anything-goes that sees our people described as not frowning on dishonest behavior which has become acceptable as a norm?

CHECK OUT THE CITIES that left your supposed glittery Lagos or Abuja … in the dust at, including Accra, Kigali … :

The 10 Most Fashionable African Cities

by Julia Austin

Now, with fashion, most Nigerians actually believe nobody can touch us in the area of fashion.  Some may even boast that Nigeria is in the top three -or so – in the world.

Well, not so fast although we are not doing badly.  Even I can attest to Nigeria’s fashionable instincts although too many ladies go way over-the-top here but many can stand shoulder to shoulder with the top from around the world.

The fashion arbiter of our time:  the Fashion Week international shows from various cities have placed Lagos right behind Jo’Burg – I protest this one!

The 10 Most Polluted African Cities

By Keren Mikva

I must list these cities with the worst last.  Now, I wonder whether the tons of marble everywhere even in hotels where you’d better take a mattress topper and a pillow – play a role in letting Mikva and co look elsewhere!  Or are the following cities really REALLY THAT BAD?  Did Ms/Mr Mikva skip market places where repairmen burn plastic buckets, etcetera to make them reusable in the process of which plumes of toxic smoke is sent to the atmosphere in every town and cities?  Too many environmental mess to skip …

Anyway, we thank God for small mercies.

Here are the cities that did not pass the environmental toxicity tests:

TUNIS
Pretoria
Jo’Burg
Harare
Algiers
Addis
Alexandria, Egypt
Casablanca
Cairo
Accra
