Oje-Ibadan & Oje-Ẹdẹ Market Days for 2016 – Tọla Adenle

January 15, 2016

Yoruba History & Culture

Dear Friends,

I see that many of you have started checking the calendar for the market days for 2015.

For those who are experienced shoppers at the two markets, it may work if you count 17 days from the last market day in 2015 but remember, the dates may vary: one or two market days may be skipped in a year.

I’ve been away but I should be in Nigeria soon; the market days for the rest of the year will be posted by March 1, 2016, God willing. I’ve been seeing stats for the 2015 market days since the year started, and just checked the stats for Thursday, 14th and found that three people checked it, again.

Unless you know people at Ibadan or Ẹdẹ where the two markets take place, it would be advisable if you do not travel to either place right now.

Thanks for making my blog the go-to-place for information on Yorubas’ Aṣọ Òkè.
