… The so-called Fulani herdsmen on a rampage of sadistic and vicious killing of innocent farmers and villagers cannot be mere herdsmen …

Oh God our Father, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Father of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. We worship your majesty. We know you as the Almighty. There is nothing that is too hard for you. You frustrate the tokens of liars. Yes they may gather, but because they have not gathered in your name, scatter them.

The Fulani moslems, well organized, have encircled us with high calibre arms and ammunitions pretending to be cattle rearers, waiting for orders to overrun our land and kill our people. They have perfected their strategies. They beat their chest and ask, “who can stop us now?”

But can the Fulani say it and have it come to pass when you have not decreed it? You are very clear that you disappoint the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

Now, Oh LORD:

Arise and defend us; contend with the Fulani that contend with us.

Frustrate and throw out the National Grazing Reserves and Ranches Commission bill before our National Assembly. Give our senators and representatives the courage and number to defeat that ill conceived bill as it is intended to enrich one ethnic group at the expense of others in Nigeria and to advance islamization of our country.

In the seeming perfectness of their strategies, Oh LORD, let not their hands perform their enterprise.

Oh LORD, protect us. Stop them from destroying our farmlands, raping our women, killing our people, burning our houses, kidnapping and robbing us.

They are gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against your holy child Jesus, whom you have anointed, they are gathered together. And now, Oh LORD, behold their threatening and grant our prayers.

Oh LORD send us human and angelic helps. We totally depend on you …”

Buhari should remember the promise he gave Nigeria when he was being sworn in as head of state – “I am nobody’s man I am everybody’s man.” He is a Fulani but a Nigerian first. He needs to confirm his affirmation by acting on this without delay. Ajipeya Afunleyin.

Right on the mark. He should now prove to Nigerians and the world at large that he does belong to us all. And, the carnage would start to ebb.

God bless the writer of this article.

Nigeria must be careful about what to accept from this so called Govt. It’s an eye opener to what extent they can go in the interest of religion. Hopefully the law makers will shine their eyes well and not sign anything into law that would destroy the little peace Nigeria has.

      Dear Olu,

Thank you. One really does hope that the “lawmakers” would, for once, think of the country they swore to uphold, and the constituents who voted them in.

This matter would not be taken lightly as evident from Governor Ajimobi’s warning.
A word, indeed, is enough for the wise.

      Regards,
      TOLA.

    Thanks so much.
    Very well done.

Christians in the South are too timid, spineless, and comfortable. They need to realise that this is a BATTLE FOR CHRIST AND CHRISTIANITY IN NIGERIA.

It really was a pleasure. We all must stand up for what is right and just as the matter goes even further than a matter of faith which, to any Christian, must be very important.

It is a way for the Fulanis to be apportioned land where they belong not and, if truth be told, people are free to own land for homes, farms, businesses … but such people would have to enter into negotiations to purchase extra land from the owners and NOT for an overbearing central government to snatch people’s land and gift it to favored people.

Everybody who has read this blog since its Day One before the 2011 elections knows I’m a Buhari fan long before the gravy train was in sight; reasoned decision made me back him when just about EVERYBODY OUTSIDE HIS LITTLE ENCLAVE did not want to hear his name. Hopefully, he would not allow both long-time supporters and new ones who feel he’s been deliberately slow to act on this incendiary to the country’s fragile “unity” would take flight if we are all proved right.

I must say how disappointed in him I’ve become over these herdsmen brouhaha with his deafening silence. The world press has been on the matter stressing there’s another mayhem group in Nigeria besides Boko Haram before he finally spoke through a minister or so according to today’s papers (April 28, 2016).

I think the impunity of these murderous, rapists and group that deals in devastating gloom across everywhere except their own corner of Nigeria is their confidence that Buhari is one of them and that nothing will happen to them.

I hope the president means it and would give the order sent out muscle and force of law.

      Fondest regards, Ma.
      Tola.

It is time for Christians to come out of their shells and defend their father land. Nigeria Christians are cowards, unlike the Jews that always protect themselves. Everybody should be armed and ready to protect himself from the so-called Herdsmen as Government has failed to protect its citizens.

        Dear Mac,

Not too far off the mark, although I believe Buhari will have to do the right thing before his government’s policy turns Nigeria into another Sudan.

        Thanks for your contribution.
