The bombardment occurred in the town of Rann, near the Cameroon border, one of the places where more than 2 million victims of Boko Haram have sought shelter in recent years as part of one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises.
More than 100 people were injured, and humanitarian workers who had been helping the roughly 25,000 displaced people in Rann were among the dead, aid officials said.

My condolences go to the families of the dead. I wish the departed joyful activity in the great beyond.
How can our One God, Who is Justice, Love and Purity allow such a thing to happen since there is only ONE POWER that rules the entire Creation? This enigmatic question has occupied my mind for decades. The answer: KARMA!

Unlike you, Dear Prof., most of us haven’t found an answer to that age-old question but we put our hopes in our faiths: that at His appointed time, He will judge the living and the dead. But how much longer must that time be as we keep on wondering, the answer, too, lies in the words of the Hymnal: “A thousand years in Thy Sight …” – Ẹgbẹ̀rún ọdun l’oju Rẹ/Bi alẹ kan l’o ri/Bi ‘sa kan l’afẹ mọjumọ/Ki orun k’o to la.”
There’s just so much evil in our land!
Sincere thanks and regards,
TOLA.
