Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Hillary Clinton’s tough Primary Campaign opponent, criticizing a recent memo by President Trump’s new attorney-general, Jeff Sessions that withdrew an Obama-era Justice Department memo which set a goal of reducing and ultimately ending the Justice Department’s use of private prisons. Sanders called the move an example of “how our corrupt political and campaign finance system” works.
